Last weekend we went on a little Christmas Picnic. Our friend and very talented photographer Kitty from Choc & Spice Photography took these beautiful photos. More details below.
This was the first photo shoot I've styled, and I had heaps of fun! I chose a strawberry picnic theme as little Miss C loves strawberries, and they really tie in with the sweetness of summer and Christmas in Australia.
We had a perfect summer's day down by the beach for our picnic and enjoyed mini picnic loaves filled with roasted capsicum (red peppers), pesto, feta cheese, salami and cos lettuce. They were wrapped in grease proof paper and tied with red and white twine and placed in cute little paper gift bags.
For dessert, the sponge cake with fresh cream and strawberries tasted as good as it looked and there were plenty of fresh strawberries to enjoy with the Hibiscus Iced tea. It was a great way to celebrate the start of summer and the Christmas season and capture some beautiful family memories.
